We’ve stayed at the Marriott Playa Andaluza several times and have enjoyed the whole experience on every occasion. It has everything we could possibly need for a short European break. The hotel isn’t too large so we’ve never felt that anywhere is too crowded. We like to hire a car and go out and about but you wouldn’t need to, if this isn’t your thing. Last time we went, we even drove to Seville which was a bit of a trek but doable. 

The accommodation offers us complete flexibility which we love. You have the option to buy from the resort shop or local supermarkets and self-cater, eat out at the restaurant or grab a take-away either on site or locally.The restaurant is good and offers a variety of choices however we feel it is a bit pricey. There are lots of lovely places to eat within a short drive; one lovely beach bar that we found on our last stay was Palm Beach, Estepona. 

 

A huge draw for us as a family of five are the leisure facilities. There are three outdoor pools, one specifically for children with a water slide, and an indoor one, plus a gym, spa, games area, courts, crazy golf, giant chess and table tennis which all feel very safe to allow our older children to access themselves. The location is perfect and within a short walk there is a beautiful beach area which never gets busy.  

 

The apartments are equipped to a high standard and have lovely views from the balcony of the gardens or ocean. There are all the mod cons expected from a Marriott and the staff are always very helpful too. There is often entertainment during the evenings, depending what time of year you go, plus a timetable of activities for the kids which they can dip in and out of. There is also a kids club. There was something there for all ages including the adults and very little ones.  

 

The apartments are spacious and have televisions, small kitchen areas, laundry facilities, indoor dining area and seating area on the balcony plus complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort and free parking for the duration of your stay.
