Situated in Hampshire, Alice Holt Forest is more than just a forest for the kids to play in. There are great play areas (of course), a takeaway café, biking and cycling trails (with a hire shop in non-pandemic times – so hopefully open soon!), and a very special Gruffalo Spotters trail complete with activity packs and an app for you to use as you make your way round all your favourite characters. Perfect for any Gruffalo obsessed little one!

The forest is accessible to everyone with great routes for serious walkers and buggies / wheelchairs alike, and the fresh air is sure to tire the kids out as you follow paths, climb trees and find hidden play areas.

For bigger kids (from 4 years) there’s the opportunity to book Go Ape and have adventures in the tree tops or on zip wires. The 'Nets Adventure' offers children the opportunity to play on bouncy nets of inflatables 30 feet above the forest floor whilst for teenagers and older the forest segways offer a more unique way to see the forest.
