A very reasonably priced day out with lots to see and do. Tickets can be booked to also include the pirate themed mini golf which is a nice addition and a nice distraction for the entire family. I was pleasantly surprised at the set up, having expected it to have a bit more of a ‘London Aquarium’ theme as a LOT of the centre is outside (bring your ponchos just in case!). On a sunny day in the summer time this would be fab but sadly the showers and drizzle meant that when we visited our kids couldn’t splash in the fountains or use the water cannons in the wet play area.

There are a number of different areas to explore with different themes to teach the children, and handy activity sheets given out keep older children entertained. The creatures were very diverse (who knew sea dragons even existed!), and a large enclosed playground with climbing frames and structures was perhaps as entertaining to the children as all the sea life. As with many of these days out do try and pack a picnic to keep costs down, although the takeaway pizzas did smell delicious.
