Ok, so it’s not technically a ‘day out’ as the maze can be done within 30 to 50 minutes but you ask my kids (6 and 5) what they enjoyed most on our day trips in the Cotswolds and this was a big winner. Combine it with a trip to Birdland & Jurassic Journey (literally 50m walk away) and you are on to a clear winner for a day out.

The maze is tricky enough that adults won’t get too bored and exciting and adventurous for little ones. As it’s not too big it’s also friendly enough for little legs so toddlers can enjoy running around and finding all the concrete clues or riddles on the floor. These riddles reveal letters which you need to form an answer that you can use in the centre. I won’t spoil it for anyone but the kids loved doing something a bit different and had a great hour or so in there. It’s also incredible value with under 4s going FREE so definitely somewhere to think about if you’re in the area.
