What Happen If?
It's not very 'Holiday' is it! But very, very occasionally you might find yourself in trouble overseas. Our 'What Happens If?' guide is continually kept up-to-date and will give you the what to do and how to avoid the drama!
A note on insurance.
Since the UK transitioned from the EU, more robust insurance policies are required for you to travel overseas. If you do end up in a sticky situation it's an added peace of mind for you that you have cover. There are lots of insurance providers out there and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all package. So it’s important to get the right cover for you.
We recommend using www.world-first.co.uk. They have an easy-to-use website which will cater for your family’s needs. As with all travel insurance companies there will be an excess to take into consideration. Read the cover in detail to ensure you have 100% peace of mind.
When you are considering your insurance package, be aware that winter sports and cruise cover is slightly different and you will need the appropriate cover.
Covid-19 has well and truly thrown a spanner in the works as far as travel plans were concerned in 2020 and 2021, however insurance companies like www.world-first.co.uk have risen to the challenge much like tour operators.
Ensure that your insurance company offers the following enhanced Covid-19 Cover:
-
Emergency and repatriation back to the UK if you catch Covid-19
-
Optional cover if you are denied boarding of your return flight due to Covid-19
-
Cancellation if you or a member of your party fall sick with Covid-19
-
Cover if your trip it is cut short due to Covid-19
